Bordeaux style, produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Red and black fruits on the nose and palate, with hints of cigar box.
Plan Pegau - Rhône Valley - France 2007 - £17.50
This wine is a blend of de-classified wines from the great Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate, Pégau. Aged for 6 months in cask and then bottled without fining or filtration, the wine is deep in colour and possesses ripe, elegant fruits.
