Front of House Supervisor

We currently have a vacancy for a full/part-time Supervisor in our busy four-star inn and restaurant. We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with experience in hospitality, who has good leadership skills and delivers a consistently high standard of customer service.

Duties will include :-

  • Day to day supervision of front of house, bar and hotel, handling all interactions with high level of hospitality and professionalism
  • Dealing with customer service issues, ensuring deliverance of high standards and dealing with any complaints as well as monitoring standards of delivery from colleagues
  • Cash handling and banking
  • Co-operating and working closely with other departments to ensure smooth running of service
  • Motivating and coordinating staff on shift, leading by example and taking a hands-on approach to operational responsibilities, undertaking floor duties where appropriate
  • Ensuring cleanliness and good atmosphere of premises is upheld
  • Handling age-restricted products
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels, ensuring stock rotation and ordering stock where necessary

Person Specification

Essential Criteria:-

  • Good level of education
  • Experience of working in a hospitality and/or customer service environment
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate team members
  • Flexible approach to hours of work

Desirable Criteria:-

  • Qualification Level 3 or equivalent in hospitality/customer care
  • Experience in a management/supervisory role
  • Ability to speak Welsh

We are always on the look out for talented Front of House Staff to join our team. We are looking for a highly self-motivated individuals with experience in hospitality, who have good leadership skills and deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly and motivated to join our Front of House Team, and is genuinely excited by the idea of a fast paced and expanding business.

It’s a dynamic team in a busy hotel, so you never know what each shift might bring. We are open all day, every day and serve great quality food and drink in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience in a customer focused environment or the hospitality industry, but a great work ethic and an even greater personality is much more necessary – if you have this then this could be the job for you.
