Weekend Housekeeper

We are currently looking for an experienced housekeeper to undertake duties for our busy four star inn & restaurant. Hours are flexible for the right candidate and available on weekends, with general housekeeping and public area cleaning duties. You’ll be self motivated, organised and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Duties will include:-

  • General housekeeping duties including cleaning and replenishing of hotel rooms and hotel area to an immaculate standard
  • Cleaning of public areas including bar, toilets and restaurant
  • Maintaining stock levels and counting and recording of deliveries including linen, toiletries and other sundries
  • Reporting and recording of maintenance issues
  • Communicating and liaising with other departments to ensure delivery of top level service to guests
  • Other general cleaning duties as requested by the on shift supervisor or manager

Person Specification

  • Self motivated
  • Experience of working within a hospitality environment
  • Great communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well within a team
  • Flexible approach to hours

Front of House Supervisor

We currently have a vacancy for a full time Supervisor in our busy four-star inn and restaurant. We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with experience in hospitality, who has good leadership skills and delivers a consistently high standard of customer service.

We would also consider a part time position for the right candidate. Please state on your application the amount of hours per week you would be available to work if this is the case.

Duties will include:-

  • Day to day supervision of front of house, bar and hotel, handling all interactions with high level of hospitality and professionalism
  • Dealing with customer service issues, ensuring deliverance of high standards and dealing with any complaints as well as monitoring standards of delivery from colleagues
  • Cash handling and banking
  • Co-operating and working closely with other departments to ensure smooth running of service
  • Motivating and coordinating staff on shift, leading by example and taking a hands-on approach to operational responsibilities, undertaking floor duties where appropriate
  • Ensuring cleanliness and good atmosphere of premises is upheld
  • Handling age-restricted products
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels, ensuring stock rotation and ordering stock where necessary

Person Specification

Essential Criteria:-

  • Good level of education
  • Experience of working in a hospitality and/or customer service environment
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate team members
  • Flexible approach to hours of work

Desirable Criteria:-

  • Qualification Level 3 or equivalent in hospitality/customer care
  • Experience in a management/supervisory role
  • Ability to speak Welsh
